If you're wondering why Mount Olive is home to such a pickle-palooza, it's in large part thanks to the Mt. The weekend included live bands, Cuke Patch 5K, pickle eating contest, Tour de Pickle, car show and pickleball tournament. Pickle lovers, get ready: the North Carolina Pickle Festival returns to a live, in-person event for 2023! The festival kicks off Friday, April 28 from 5-10 pm, with the main day on Saturday, April 29 from 9 m to 6 pm in downtown Mount Olive.
